Whether it’s customised aprons or shirts here’s how we go about giving you the look you want.
When you think of customisation, especially with clothing, you’d think you’ll be paying a premium. Surely anything that’s modified from the norm will be too expensive for just a hospitality uniform. The truth is, that’s certainly not the case.
Getting a look that’s right for your business is an important part of creating an atmosphere your customers will return to again and again. And getting that look couldn’t be easier. Taking off the shelf garment and modifying them gives you a unique garment that fits in with your theme at an affordable price.
So how do we go about it?
When you first contact Kylemark we’ll discuss your requirements; letting us know if there’s anything in particular you want to incorporate into your uniform. From here we’ll get a basic feel for the uniform and can pick a theme accordingly. Don’t worry if you’re struggling for ideas, that’s what we’re here for.
Our designers will them do a bit of research into your business; visiting your website, Instagram, Pinterest, etc trying to get a feel for the surroundings the uniform will be worn in.
They will then usually create a mock-up of your customised garment, giving you a chance to see in photo realism a representation of the uniform. It’s a great way to get the finished feel before you order.
Creating a sample.
For larger orders we will then construct a sample of the finished garment/s. This lets us see if there are any complications to the concept design and make alterations accordingly. It’s an important stage, seeing the flat 2d designs come to life and is the final confirmation the design will work.
There’s no substitute for trying out the uniform on site so we’ll courier your samples so you can see how your staff will look fully kitted out.
The advantages of customisation.
The three main advantages about creating a customised uniform from standard garments. First is price, second is being able to order low volumes and thirdly, fast turn around times.
Where bespoke normally means committing to much larger orders, sometimes having to pay for them well in advance and sometimes waiting months for arrival; this sort of customisation doesn’t have the same restrictions.
You can order very small amounts at a time with relatively quick dispatch times. The price to compares very favourably with bespoke items to.
