Summer styles to make your staff look and feel cool.
Don’t run screaming indoors, that orange fiery thing in the sky is meant to be there, apparently. Being based in Scotland we don’t see this phenomenon that frequently but I’m told it does get hot, so it may be time to start thinking about changing your staff out of their winter coats and long-johns and into some cool new summer style uniforms.
For a lot of businesses at this time of year seasonal staff have to be kitted out; an unavoidable added expense. We have though, great multi-deal savings on most ranges and honestly, there are some nice new styles available.
For a start you can’t go wrong with a modern, breathable polo shirt. The tech behind these fabrics has come a long way over the years and the way the material lets your skin breath while drawing away the moisture is very effective. We have a huge range of styles and colours to choose from but this years new 2nd generation addition really is a step forward. This Piqué Polo uses CoolPlus® fibre technology to give exceptional moisture management when working under pressure; it also helps that it looks quite good to. Coming in 16 colours you’re bound to find the right fit for your uniform.
If you’re looking for a more urban uniform you might want to take a look at these Long-John style tops. Soft to touch and with a bit of stretch these totally on trend tops have the option of being worn with roll sleeves; sporting fasteners on the upper arm to hold them in place. Coming in 5 colours, the stand out is a nautical style stripy pattern that would be perfect for any seaside themed uniform.
Of course, you shouldn’t rule out the shirt. Soft 100% cotton will also keep you cool and is always a great look for any hospitality uniform. Micro check gingham is very in and these short sleeved shirts come in 4 popular colourways. You can also take advantage of our in house alteration service and have them modified to a Mandarin collar style.
The finishing touch is the apron. We can’t guarantee it’ll cool your staff down but they’ll certainly make them look cooler. We think the new wax look aprons will be one of the biggest hits this summer. Coming in waist or bib styles with contrast ties this stylish apron will fit into most environments giving the feel of a heavy, quality garment but at a very reasonable price.
Of course, all of these garments can be personalised in-house with embroidery or print helping you promote your brand. So, whether you’re fitting out your existing team or getting ready for your seasonal staff these new designs certainly look the part.
